March/April Graze Box(es) Review #3 and #1

Graze is a Weekly/bi-Weekly/Monthly Subscription Service that is similar to GoBites, Peckish, and Naturebox in the sense that they have their own brand snack mixes and send them to you.  They send you their snacks in little punnets that have exactly one serving each.  Four punnets come in each box.

The price of Graze is $5 per box.  This makes each punnet out to be $1.25 each.  This is surprisingly a good deal if you compare it to GoBites, since they charge $1.99 per punnet (they are both the same size). If you stopped buying as much snacks, this could save money. If you don't feel like getting these boxes every week because of the sneaky price, or you just think the punnets will start to pile up, don't fret! Graze offers 3 plans for optimized flexibility.  You can get your boxes delivered weekly,  every fortnight, or monthly. You can even skip a week with any plan!

Since Graze is based in the UK, deliveries are very inconsistent at times, but I am understanding of that because they aren't based in the US yet.  I really hope that they come to the U.S soon because I just got olives in my LWF box for this month (review coming soon), and I discovered that I love olives! And the olives offered in the UK sound really tasty!  I like the variety that this box has because it isn't just mixed nuts and granola, there is bit of everything!

The Herb Garden (herb and onion peanuts, baked herb bites and oregano rice crackers)- I first marked this as love because I thought the baked herb bites in it sounded interesting.  They turned out to be not very interesting, but good nonetheless.  There are a lot of herby savory snacks on Graze and I have liked them all, but not love, so I marked this as like.

Toffee Apple (sticky toffee sauce with granny smith apple slices)-  I had this in my first ever graze box and I thought it was delicious!  The apples tasted fresh and the toffee caramel was divine   But this time, the apple pieces had a bit of a brown shade to them, and didn't taste as fresh.  I guess that's what comes along with transcontinental shipping.  But I still marked this as love since it was so good the first time.

Tropical Daiquiri (pineapple, lime infused raisins and green mango)- This tasted very fruity.  The lime infused raisins were OK, but not my favorite infused raisin. I always buy green mango from Costco and these tasted a bit stale, but still retained good flavor.  I marked this as like.

Bounty Hunter (milk chocolate drops, coconut flakes and cranberries)- I expected this to be plain, but it was tasty.  The chocolate was very smooth, and went well with the cranberries and coconut, marked as like.

April Box #2 http://grz.cm/b/17J38

My Thai (sweet chili sauce with baked soy bites)- I have ended up liking all the dippers so far (except mango chutney) and this was no exception.  The chili sauce tasted like the sweet chili sauce you buy in a bottle from the store, but it tasted a little spicier (I think) than that.  The two things tasted great together, marked as love.

Summer Berry Compote (berry compote with wholemeal shortbread dippers)- Again, I like all the dippers, and this was one of my favorite things I've ever had from graze.  The shortbread tastes very familiar, yet I can't put my finger on it's exact taste. The berry compote was delicious and they were very yummy together, love.

After Dinner Mint (mint infused raisins, blanched almonds and dark chocolate buttons)-  I thought this sounded very interesting with its mint infused raisins.  Nothing tasted that great by themselves, but together, it tasted a lot like the mints some restaurants give after dinners.  I rated this one as a like.

Brooklyn Bites (BBQ pumpkin seeds, poppy seed pretzels and cheese cashews)- This one was new, so I marked it as love so I could get it soon, and it did!  This was pretty good, it had a different flavor than other graze snacks, but I don't know if it reminded me of Brooklyn.  I rated this as a like.

Verdict:  Graze is always pretty awesome!d

March Graze Box(es) #1 and #2 Review

Graze is a Weekly/bi-Weekly/Monthly Subscription Service that is similar to GoBites or Peckish in the sense that they brand their own snack mixes and send them to you.

A person wanted my last invite code, and I replied to his comment, but he/she hasn't used it yet. Hmm, I'll wait a while.

Graze has a unique rating system that makes it so you will probably always get a good box.  You can mark all of the snacks as trash (never send), try (happy to try), like (send occasionally),  or love (send often). You can even make your boxes mostly things you marked as love, a good mix, or mostly tries. That is so awesome! Side note: Am I the only one who has though of cheating the system and trashing all but 4 items to know exactly what will be in your box? I would make it ALL flapjacks ALL the time.

Since Graze delivers from the UK, the deliveries can be a bit wonky at times.  I got my box from last week in my mailbox after my box from this week.  Not a huge deal, and I can understand because of the international-ness. I told graze this, and they credited my account for one free box, how nice! I took a peek at the UK snack page and they have snacks that sound awesome! They get olives, bread, brownies, cake, and tea! I really hope graze finds a way to deliver these fresh products to the U.S soon.  Maybe they'll open a branch in the U.S.  That would be cheaper than paying for international shipping over and over again.

The Snacks in my March #1 box:

Fruit and Seed Flapjack- In case you didn't know, I am a HUGE fan of the Graze flapjacks.  I have had every single kind now, and they are all awesome.  They are made with a secret family recipe I hear.  They are always really soft and oat-mealy, and not like a granola bar at all. This one was probably my least favorite out of all flapjacks, but it was still good.  Other flapjacks are phenomenal though.  I rated this as "like."

Cheddar Gorge-  This was OK   I expected it to be more cheesy.  The herb bites were good.  The salsa corn sticks weren't very good. I rated it as "try."

Honeycomb Crunch- This was really good! I LOVED the honeycomb that was coated in chocolate.  And it tasted delectable with the raisins and almonds.  I had to mark this one as a "love."

Chili and Lime Pistachios-  These were pretty good.  I am a fan of pistachios, and the chili-lime flavoring on these were good.  I wish there was more chili, but then again, most people can't handle spice as well as I.

The Snacks in my March #2 box:

Boston Baguettes-  This was really good also.  The tomato bread stick things were OK on their own.  When you put them together with the BBQ relish it was quite tasty. I usually love all of the dippers! Marked as "love."

Pure Vitality-  Together this was OK.  I really liked the tartness of the Inca berries. I wasn't a huge fan of the apricots, but I still ate them. The seeds were OK   I don't think this mix's sole purpose was taste, so I marked it as "try."

Yaki Soba- This was good, but not great.  I didn't think it really tasted like yaki soba, but it was good otherwise.  Marked as "like."

Honeycomb Flapjack- This was the best graze thing I have had for sure.  It had all that oatmeal goodness of their flapjacks with a really nice honey and chocolate flavor.  I wouldn't mind having this in every one of my boxes. "love" for sure.

Verdict: Graze is super awesome, subscribe!

February Graze Box Review

Graze box is a food/snack subscription box that I stumbled upon online. It is similar to GoBites because they both send little punnets of snacks to your doorstep. The size of the punnets are the same as GoBites.

The price of this subscription is $5 per box. You can choose to have your boxes delivered weekly, every fortnight (bi-weekly), monthly. When they first launched, you could only have weekly, but you could push back your delivery a week, and I made it so I would get it every other week by pushing it back the next delivery every week I got a delivery, which was kind of annoying. So now, I don't have to do that, I can just let the boxes come every other week.

This is my 3rd box from graze so far and I have been loving them! The snacks have great variety and most of them are unique with a few exceptions. Graze also offers a unique rating system that almost guarantees that you will get snacks that you like. You can browse through all of their snacks, and mark each one as "love" (send regularly), "like" (send occasionally), "try" (happy to try), or "trash" (never send me this). You can even set your preferences for graze to send you mostly products you like and love, a good mix of like, love, and try, or mostly items you marked as try. I really like how customizable graze is without you knowing completely what you are getting in your next box!

The price of this box is also very good. Each punnet comes out to be $1.25 each. GoBites is $1.99 each, so the value of graze is pretty great. If you would like to subscribe to Graze, I have one invitation code left to give out, so the first person to comment saying they would like to subscribe will get my last invite/referral code!

The snacks in my box this week:

Bonnie Wee Oat-bakes- This contained cheese and chive Oat-bakes with a caramelized onion marmalade. I'll admit, at first, I thought this sounded disgusting. I guess the thought of a savory marmalade just steered me away from it. Actually, this snack was super delicious! The oatcakes had a pretty subtle flavor, but you could still taste the cheese and chive combo, and the texture was pretty good. The red onion marmalade was amazing, it had sweet, sour, onion, and even a
vinegar flavor to it. When you combined the oatcakes with the marmalade, it was like heaven, soooo good. I marked this as "love," I would really want to get it again.

Hot Cross Yum- This snack was a mix of orange infused raisins, sponge pieces, and cinnamon honey almonds. I thought the sponge pieces were interesting tasting. The orange raisins are really good actually because they don't have that raising flavor that I don't like, but taste somewhat like orange jelly. The almonds are pretty good also. I was surprised on how much it tasted like a hot-cross bun when you had all the ingredients together! I marked this as like, as I wouldn't mind receiving it again.

Strawberry Milkshake- This snack was a mix of baby strawberries, banana coins, and white chocolate dots. I was expecting the banana to be really dry like a banana chip, bit it was surprisingly soft-ish! Again, when you tasted everything together, it really did taste like a strawberry milkshake! I marked this as "like," because I would like to receive it again.

Bakewell Tart- This snack was a mix of almonds, cherry-infused raisins, and cranberries. I did not expect to like this one very much, but the cherry raisins were just too dang good! Again, it didn't have that raisin-y flavor to it, and it had the good tartness that actual cherries have. I have no idea what a bakewell tart is, but this mix did taste like "real food" I guess. I marked this as "like" because I want to get it again.

I really have been enjoying my graze boxes.

Verdict: Subscribe Right NOW

*I am not paid to write reviews for graze, I paid for these boxes myself.
