March Ashton Kutcher A+ Fancy Box

The A+ box Plus is a kinda new fancy box subscription curated by Ashton Kutcher. This fancy subscription was the first one to be celebrity curated I believe. I think there are a total of 7 subscriptions offered by thefancy.com now!

Ashton said that he was curating "the dopest stuff on Fancy." And each box is promised to have at least an $80 dollar value. I don't quite understand how the shipping on fancy subsriptions work, but I am sure someone does. A lot of the times boxes ship late, but that isn't too big of a deal in my opinion. My box came a little later than other people's that I know of.

This box costs 40$ a month plus shipping. All fancy boxes (except the food one), ship internationally, so shipping costs varies. It was around $7. There are almost always $25 off coupons for the fancy, and the one working right now is 25OFF6. Depending on when you are reading this, it could change to 7, 8, etc.
I like how fancy sends info cards about everything in the box, and I really like the cube box!

Pilot and Captain Tokyo Shirt ($32)- I am really glad that this fits me, because the design of it is pretty cool. I asked fancy why they automatically sent me a men's large, and they replied by asking me my shirt size, gender, and mobile device. So if you plan on buying a fancy box, make sure to tell them that!

Winestein ($20)- This is really interesting. It's kinda wierd to me, because don't people want to feel classy when drinking wine? Maybe not, but this feels super thin, and I am scared of it breaking constantly. In fact, there was a little crack in it, so I contacted fancy, and they gave me a $25 gift card which I paired with the $25 off code to get the Verbal Fancy Box and the Tyler Florence ones for about $18!
2 Duke Cannon Big @ss Bricks of Soap ($7 each)- These soap bars are actually pretty big. About 3x normal bars, so they make really loud sounds when you drop them in the shower. I really like the scent on these also.
C.I.A Manual of Trickery and Deception ($15)- This book seems interesting, so I'll read it eventually.

The total value of this box is about $80 dollars, so the value is pretty good. I wasn't blown away by this box, but I did like most of its contents.

Verdict- It is kind of a gamble, but at least try it once.

March Gfreely Review

Gfreely is a montly subscription service that sends all kinds of gluten free foods. Sometimes they are cooking ingredients, sometimes quick meals, and sometimes just snacks.  They also include a variety of reicpies and tips in each box.  If you were to particularly like a couple of items in your box, they have a store on their website that offers some things. There aren't very many things in the store currently, but I am sure they will add more items sooner or later.

This box costs $25 dollars a month with shipping included.  You can take the price down to $19 a month if you purchase a six month subscription.  Gfreely sent me a coupon code for 50% off, so I decided to try it once and then cancel. This was my first Gfreely box ever.
If you are wondering why the box is torn up, its because I tore of the mailing label really badly lol.
Kays Natural Mac n Cheese Protein Puffs ($1.79)- These were interesting. They tasted kinda like macaroni and cheese, but with some wierd spice that I just cannot put my finger on. They weren't bad though, just not my favorite.

Nunes Farms Almonds in Sweet Chipotle ($1.00)- Nunes Farms never seems to impress me with their almonds. But I am pretty spoiled with my almonds.  I always make freshly roasted cinnamon almonds almost every week.  But these weren't bad either.

Some mysterious bag of mysterious stuff ($1??)- I have no idea what this could be. It doen't have a brand label or anything.  I guess I'll eat it though.
That's it Fruit Bar in Cherry Apple ($1.58)- This was pretty darn good. The title is self explanitory, the only ingredients are cherries and apples! That's pretty darn awesome. They tasted really good too, like a SunRype bar, just a lot less processed.

Dang toasted coconut chips ($3.21)- These were really really tasty.  I am a big fan of coconut so I pretty much inhaled all of this bag immediately.
Sen Cha Green Tea Mints ($2.95)- This was probably my favorite thing in the box.  I liked the packaging for some reason I can't think of.  They taste OK,but they make your breath smell super fresh and minty teaish.  I also like that three mints equal the amount of antioxidants that are in one cup of tea.

Crystal Noodle Soup in Mushroom Flavor ($2.50)- This sounds quite yummy and sounds pretty Asian, so this seems promising.

The total value of this box is about $14! That is a pretty bad value if you ask me. Not terrible for me since I only paid half but still, way too low for a $25 box. I am going to email them about this.

Verdict: Maybe other boxes were better?!?

March Bulu Box

Bulu Box is a monthly health, wellness, and supplement box. They usually have tons of coupons to subscribe with but use this Link in combination with the code FREEBOX to get your first box free (and refer me).  This is my fourth month of Bulu Box but I feel as if their boxes have been less and less satisfactory. This one was pretty good although I didn't particularly enjoy the box from last month.

This is what Bulu Box says on "about them":
Bulu Box is the first vitamin, supplement and general health subscription sample box designed to help you feel your best. Every month, you'll get a box filled with 4 to 5 premium, curated samples from top brands. Look forward to a new mix of products for both women and men, including vitamins, weight loss, sports nutrition, protein, diet, energy, detox, digestion, sexual health, herbs, natural remedies, endurance and more. We'll make sure you get enough to decide if the product is right for you. No shipping or shady fees. Depending on your plan, you can cancel anytime. Get ready for a healthy discovery!

This box costs $10 a month including shipping, which in my opinion, is pretty cheap as far as subscription boxes go.  And always be on the lookout for %50 off codes, that's usually when I subscribe again!

Bulu Box came in a brand new orange box, complete with inspirational phrases!

$50 iTrain Gift Card ($50)- I think I have three of these now.  I need to start using them. The problem is that I am just not sure what to use all my credits for! I counted the value as fifty dollars because it doesn't require for you to spend any of your money.

1 Bottle of Dream Water in Pineapple PM flavor ($3.75)- I actually think dream water works. Before bed every night  I always take a Melatonin+ pill, and this felt like it did the same thing.  Except it is just way more expensive. Finally! I didn't get the Snoozeberry Flavor!
1 tablet of At Ease PM ($0.87)- I don't think this actually did anything for me.  I used it instead of melatonin one night, and had major problems falling asleep.

Qspeed CoQ10 ($0.67)- I am not exactly sure on what this does.  I guess I'll just try it and see what happens.

Aero Energy Shot ($3)- This basically worked like having a cup of coffee.  It seems pretty pricey if someone were to have it daily, so I'll just stick to my tea.

ProLab Quick Fire ($1.30)-  This is  supposed to help with training. I guess I'll take it before a work out.

The total value of this box is about $60. Yay for good value! I guess this makes up for the box from last month.  I checked the Bulu Box home page and it had a picture of all the stuff in the box from last month with an extra bag of kale chips. Peculiar.
The suspicious picture

Verdict: If you want to try out new supplements, this may be the box for you!

**I did purchase this box myself and I am not an affiliate. From this point on, I will not put these things unless I was somehow compensated to write the review. Just assume I am not If it doesn't have this.

March Loot Crate Review

Loot Crate is a monthly subscription box that is very unique in the subscription box world. It is a geek/gamer themed box.  I think this is the only box with that theme, and I think there will be some other box companies looking at the success of loot crate and making a geek/gamer box.  It might just spark a new genre in boxes.

This box costs $19.99 a month, but like most subscription services, you can save a couple bucks by getting a 3 or 6 month subscription.  They also sometimes send bonus items for people who upgraded, so that provides a lot of incentive to upgrade in my book(that's what made me do it!.)  This box ships on the 20th of each month.  Am I the only one who wished that there should be some boxes that ship on like the 28th? Then you would at least have a box for the subscription box "drought" part of the month (the very beginning).

Loot Crate describes their box as a comic-con swag bag sent in the mail every month.  I would say that is pretty accurate.  I usually don't go to any conventions so I guess I can get my "swag-fix" this way instead. And if you don't like one of the items, they usually make great gifts to geek/gamer friends!

This month's box didn't have an info card for me ):
Pop! Star Wars Yoda Vinyl Bobble-Head ($10)- I am guessing that this was the "main" thing in the box; and I'll admit it is pretty neat.  It would make a super awesome gift to a star wars fan, because I am not a huge fan of star wars.

One Hex-Bug Nano ($6)- From what I understand this is a little electro-bug that you turn on and it starts to spaz out.  Kinda wierd. I always thought these were super overpriced, but I see they have lowered the prices.  I do not know what I will do with this. Who knows, maybe I'll get addicted to them like subscription boxes? Probably not, but this will make another gift too.

2 Star Wars Postcards- ($0.37)- I guess I'll use these for decoration

One wall sticker of something ($3??)- I do not know what this is a wall sticker of, so I don't know the value.  I hope Walls360 made it.

1  loot crate bracelet ($1.50??)- I also don't know the value since this was made by loot crate   I haven't worn the last bracelet they sent me,  but I'm sure I'll find a use for them somewhere.

The total value of my March Loot Crate is about $20. I am not blown away by this value, but not disappointed  It is not as good as usual, but I still liked most of the contents.

Verdict- Subscribe if you are into this stuff for sure!

March Conscious Box Review

Conscious box is a montly subscription service that specializes in eco-friendly products.  This box is pretty popular in the whole subscription box world. There are many people in today's society that are looking for more eco-friendly ways to live.  I think this box would be perfect for those types of people!

This box costs $19.95 a month including shipping.  Like most other subscription boxes, you can sign up for longer plans to get a discount.  There are also options for a gluten free, or vegan box.

Use Code FREEBOX to get your first box free! (can cancel anytime).

This box always sends lots of samples to try!

Disposable iPhone Sleeves by Chef Sleeve ($10)- These will come in handy if I plan on going someplace wet or dirty (get your mind out of the gutter, gosh!).  But I'm wondering how people will react to these if they don't have an iPhone.  I suppose they will work if their phone is close to the same size.

Wheatgrass Shot by Agro Labs ($3.33)- This was actually pretty tasty and gave me a good amount of energy to make it through a part of the day.

2 Nektar honey crystals ($1?)- These are so yummy.  I like to eat them plain for some reason, but they are delectable! I can't seem to find them anywhere in my local supermarket.

2 Packs of Stash Chocolate Orange Organic Tea ($.50)- I'm growing a small stash of stash tea now. I usually only drink chai tea.  I will drink any black tea they send, but I am not a big fan of subtle and flavored teas.

Motherlove diaper rash salve ($.67)- Well I have absolutely no use for this, so I will just give it away I guess. But samples feel a little akward to give out sometimes, so sometimes  I make little gift boxes of all the little things in sub boxes that I haven't used and then give them away.  It makes me feel like a good person, and the people feel awesome for getting a bunch of samples.
Zarbee's All-Natural Cough Syrup ($.76)- This is drug free. I have no problem with putting drugs in to me (unless they are illegal), but I'll try this.

Smarty Pants Kids Gummy Vitamins ($1)- Lol, I ate this myself and it was muy deliciouso! They tasted like candy.  The only thing I have to complain about is that you have to take six at a time to get your daily dose.  That can be a little costly.

Smarty Pants Grown-Up Gummy Vitamins ($1)- Same as above.
Two Snack Bars by Two Degrees ($4.43)- I really liked the texture of these.  The flavors were pretty good also.  I ate these two right away and I want more.

Olde Man Granola in Original Nut ($.50)- This was surprisingly good. I liked the nutty flavor a lot. I was expecting it to be bad because the name of it is "Olde Man Granola," but now I know not to judge a book by its cover.

(Not pictured, but is at the top of the first photo) Pure Living Tea Vanilla Chaga TGRT Raw Tea ($.44)- I may make this.  I am intrigued by tea when it has interesting packaging, so I am more likely to make this than the stash ones.

The total value of this box is about $24. Concious  box isn't really about values, but discovering new eco-friendly products.  I am not much of a health-nut at ALL.  But this box would be great for certain people, just not me.  So I went ahead and cancelled after my third month (this month).  Now I have some room in my budget. What box should I try out now?

Verdict- If you are looking for some new eco-friendly products, try this box out.  It is pretty darn good, but not exactly tailored for me.

**I was not paid to write this review nor did I recieve any compensation from concious box to write it.  I also purchased it myself.

March Yumvelope Review

Yumvelope is a monthly subscription service for gourmet snacks.  As you probably know by now, I love me some snacks.

At first you can get one box for $21.00 plus $3 shipping.  They won't sign you up for a subscription automatically so that is nice.  Then you can subscribe for a month to moth subscription for just $21 a month. You can even purchase a six month subscription for $126 which includes some sort of  bonus shipment.  I am guessing it is a bonus month but I am not sure.

Yumvelope just started to donate a meal for every box shipped like Love With Food.  I think that is pretty awesome. This is my third month with love with food, and the past three boxes have all been pretty great. I think they are progressively getting better. I've heard they were pretty crummy at the beginning, but that is not the case now!

Look at all the Snacks, I really like how Yumvelope usually sends 1 full size thing!

The contents of my March Yumvelope with (gu)estimated retail values:
Full Size Good Life Granola in Cranberry Cherry ($6.50)- I always end up with a lot of granola because of subscription boxes.  This was OK, I just wish there were less Oates and more cranberries.  I am kind of spoiled when it comes to granola because my sister makes great homemade fresh granola, so every other granola is kinda meh.

Biscotti Bari in Lemon Poppy-seed ($2??)- Yumvelope always seems to send good biscotti.  This tasted good with my Chai Tea.

Biscotti Bari in Dark Chocolate Pistachio ($2??)- I expect this to be good, but I haven't tried it yet.

Liz Lovely pack of 2 gluten free snicker doodle cookies ($4)- These cookies were sooo good.  They were extremely soft and were some of the best cookies evar! And the fact that they are gluten free makes it even better.

Liz Lovely pack of 2 gluten free Chocolate Moose Dragon ($4)- Same as above.  Delicious.

Blanxart Dark Chocolate ($3.45)-  This was pretty good, I feel like I am spoiled to chocolate because of subscription boxes.  I didn't see a fair trade label on this and that scared me a bit.

Pecadero Chocolate Fig Bar ($3??)- This looks interesting.  Will post in an update.

The total value of this month's Yumvelope is about 25 dollars.  This is a pretty good value as far as food boxes go.  They donated a meal with this so that makes the value higher in my book.  I couldn't find a value for the biscotti, but Yumvelope gave us a number to re-order, but I didn't want to be like "Hey how much does the biscotti cost?" "$XX.XX per Y, how many do you want?" "Oh, I just wanted to know how much they were, kay thanks bye."  Yeah... that would be kinda weird

Verdict: Yumvelope keeps getting better, so I would recommend subscribing.

**I was not compensated by Yumvelope to write this review, and I bought the subscription with my own money.

March Graze Box(es) #1 and #2 Review

Graze is a Weekly/bi-Weekly/Monthly Subscription Service that is similar to GoBites or Peckish in the sense that they brand their own snack mixes and send them to you.  They send you their snacks in little punnets that have exactly one serving each.  Four punnets come in each box.

The price of Graze is $5 per box.  This makes each punnet out to be $1.25 each.  This is surprisingly a good deal if you compare it to GoBites, since they charge $1.99 per punnet (they are both the same size). If you stopped buying as much snacks, this could save money. If you don't feel like getting these boxes every week because of the sneaky price, or you just think the punnets will start to pile up, don't fret! Graze offers 3 plans for optimized flexibility.  You can get your boxes delivered weekly,  every fortnight, or monthly. You can even skip a week with any plan! A person wanted my last invite code, and I replied to his comment, but he/she hasn't used it yet. Hmm, I'll wait a while.

Graze has a unique rating system that makes it so you will probably always get a good box.  You can mark all of the snacks as trash (never send), try (happy to try), like (send occasionally),  or love (send often). You can even make your boxes mostly things you marked as love, a good mix, or mostly tries. That is so awesome! Side note: Am I the only one who has though of cheating the system and trashing all but 4 items to know exactly what will be in your box? I would make it ALL flapjacks ALL the time.

Since Graze delivers from the UK, the deliveries can be a bit wonky at times.  I got my box from last week in my mailbox after my box from this week.  Not a huge deal, and I can understand because of the international-ness. I told graze this, and they credited my account for one free box, how nice! I took a peek at the UK snack page and they have snacks that sound awesome! They get olives, bread, brownies, cake, and tea! I really hope graze finds a way to deliver these fresh products to the U.S soon.  Maybe they'll open a branch in the U.S.  That would be cheaper than paying for international shipping over and over again.

The Snacks in my March #1 box:

Fruit and Seed Flapjack- In case you didn't know, I am a HUGE fan of the Graze flapjacks.  I have had every single kind now, and they are all awesome.  They are made with a secret family recipe I hear.  They are always really soft and oat-mealy, and not like a granola bar at all. This one was probably my least favorite out of all flapjacks, but it was still good.  Other flapjacks are phenomenal though.  I rated this as "like."

Cheddar Gorge-  This was OK   I expected it to be more cheesy.  The herb bites were good.  The salsa corn sticks weren't very good. I rated it as "try."

Honeycomb Crunch- This was really good! I LOVED the honeycomb that was coated in chocolate.  And it tasted delectable with the raisins and almonds.  I had to mark this one as a "love."

Chili and Lime Pistachios-  These were pretty good.  I am a fan of pistachios, and the chili-lime flavoring on these were good.  I wish there was more chili, but then again, most people can't handle spice as well as I.

The Snacks in my March #2 box:

Boston Baguettes-  This was really good also.  The tomato bread stick things were OK on their own.  When you put them together with the BBQ relish it was quite tasty. I usually love all of the dippers! Marked as "love."

Pure Vitality-  Together this was OK.  I really liked the tartness of the Inca berries. I wasn't a huge fan of the apricots, but I still ate them. The seeds were OK   I don't think this mix's sole purpose was taste, so I marked it as "try."

Yaki Soba- This was good, but not great.  I didn't think it really tasted like yaki soba, but it was good otherwise.  Marked as "like."

Honeycomb Flapjack- This was the best graze thing I have had for sure.  It had all that oatmeal goodness of their flapjacks with a really nice honey and chocolate flavor.  I wouldn't mind having this in every one of my boxes. "love" for sure.

Verdict: Graze is super awesome, subscribe!

** I was not paid to write this review by Graze, and I purchased this subscription with my money.s

March Love With Food Box Review

Love with food is a fairly popular gourmet food monthly subscription service. One of the reasons why it is so popular is most likely the relatively cheap cost. This box costs $12 monthly total and can go as low as $10 with an annual plan. What differentiates this box from other food boxes is that for ever box they deliver, they donate a meal to a hungry child in America.

Side Note: I just found out the owner is Asian, that's awesome!

There are a lot of discounts online for LWF. Once I found one fir $15 for a 3-month subscription. So if the $12 seems to pricey, just keep your eyes peeled for discounts!

Some times, LWF has special guests curate their boxes, and next month (April) it is going to be Andrew Zimmern from Bizarre Foods. I am really excited for that box because I am completely open to any food, no matter how bizarre. He did reveal that there would be cocomels in the box, and I love Cocomels!

The theme of this month's box was Classics with a Twist

The contents of this box with approx. retail values:

Dark Chocolate Orange Good Fortune Cookie From Emily's Chocolates ($1)- This was yummy! I am a fan of fortune cookies and this was awesome. I really like chocolate orange combos. That's probably why I like Jaffa Cakes and Chocolate Oranges so much.

Granola from Ola! Foods ($.16)- I'll post this in an update.
Update- This was Ok, pretty plain in my opinion.

Chocolate Covered Wasabi Peas from Chocowasabi ($1??)- I love love love Wasabi. But I don't think it's really hot or spicy at all, just a bit tangy. I can eat plain Wasabi all day! So these choco peas were delicious! I was surprised how the chocolate complimented the tanginess of the Wasabi. I just wish it had more Wasabi flavor. I feel like I was in the minority for liking this though.

Fruit and Veggie Juice from Kids 50 ($2??)- I got this in break it down berry and it was really refreshing. I grew up in the 90's so I'm used to juice boxes not quenching my thirst lol. This tasted really fruity and not vegetabley at all!

Salted Carmel Baked Corn from Cosmos Creations ($2.49)- Mmmm, this may have been the highlight of the box for me. It was like those puffy cheetos, but instead of cheese, salty carmel. I will probably buy more of this through LWF.

Green Tea Infuser from Revolution Tea ($.50)- Haven't tried yet, will update.

Mary's Gone Crackers Snacks ($1)- I was a little bummed out because I got crackers and some people got pretzels. I'll post this in an update also.
Update- These were really seedy and tasted a bit too healthy. I think I would've liked the pretzels better but these weren't bad.

Wild Berry Flat Fruit from Wacky Apple ($1??)- I can't find the values of like half the things in this box! I will put this in an update.
Update- This was good, but nothing special. I like flat fruit so it was good.

The total value of this is $8, but maybe more since I estimated. This is an OK value since they donate a meal. I think I might cancel in 2 months.

Verdict: Subscribe when there are discounts for sure, regularly, maybe.

**I did not receive any compensation from Love With Food to write this review. I also bought this box myself.

March Dumpling Box Review

Dumpling box is a fairly new subscription service for Asian snacks. I love Asian snacks, possibly because I am Asian, so I HAD to get this box. I seriously am obsessed with Asian food. It is hard to get Asian food where I live since there is only one Asian market and it isn't that big.

Thus box costs $10 per month through Paypal. The weird thing about this box is that it delivers on different days for everyone. I first signed up at the beginning of the month, so I always get it at the beginning of the month. But if someone signed up during the middle/end, that's when they would get it. Each box comes with a little card with all the snacks listed, where they're from, and the ingredients.

This is my third month of Dumpling Box, and I have really been enjoying them! I am not going to list the retail values since this box isn't about values, it's about trying new things. And I don't really have the means to go out and find all the values since not all of these snacks are at the Asian market near my location.

The contents of my March Dumpling Box:

Dandy's Coconut Chocolate Wafers- I've had many Asian coconut wafer snacks, and they were all good. This was no exception, but it added some chocolate so that was nice.

Kasugai Cola Hard Candy- This wasn't half bad, it was a cola hard candy with some fizzy flavor to it.

Kasugai Kiwi Gummy- This was a surprisingly soft and chewy gummy. Most gummies end up being hard, but this wasn't. The package said "super juicy," although I didn't taste any juice. Still good though.

Lotte Sasha Milk Chocolate- I really liked the design of this. It was milk chocolate interlaced with white. It tasted pretty good also.

Marukawa Variety Gum- The packaging on this was awesome! It was this neat little box pre-wrapped with 4 little gum balls on the inside. This tasted surprisingly good but didn't last too long.

Okaki No Kyeon Rice Crackers- These were yummy! They tasted a lot like rice and soy sauce. I love rice and soy sauce.

Puccho Stick Genki Energy- This was cola flavored, and tasted pretty good. It also had some carbonation to it. I didn't feel much energy, but caffeine doesn't have much of an effect on me in general.

Sunlight Royal Sesame Powder- This was really interesting. The card said to mix it with hot water to make some sort of porridge. I did that and it was quite addicting! It looked ugly but tasted good.

Tenkei Marshmallow Pudding- I expected this to be just a soft marshmallow, but it actually was a soft marshmallow filled with some sort of pudding. It was really good and interesting!

Uni Sukiyaki Rice Crackers- This was super yummy! It was a bag of sea urchin flavored rice crackers. It didn't taste too much like sea urchin, but nonetheless, was still yummy.

I am liking Dumpling box more and more. Sure there are some improvements to be made like a referral program and stuff, but this box is new so I didn't expect that.

Verdict: If you like Asian Snacks or just want to try something new, I would recommend subscribing!

March Healthy Surprise Review

Healthy surprise is a little different than other monthly food subscription boxes. They offer three types of boxes, the Starter Box ($33), Healthy Box ($66), and Large Box ($99). The box I received this month was the starter box.

The products in healthy surprise must meet certain requirements to get in. They have to be all Natural, Vegan, Gluten Free, Soy Free, and Corn Free! That means people with dietary restrictions can still eat these delicious munchies!

This is on the expensive side of subscription boxes in general, but they do send a lot of very high quality foods that almost anyone can enjoy!

The contents of my march starter box with approximated retail values:

Cave Man Crunch ($2.29)- I usually don't like trail mix, but this was pretty yummy. It was loaded with walnuts (I love walnuts), almonds, seeds, and other dry fruit.

Chipotle BBQ Beanitos ($3.30)- I have received this in my other various food boxes and it has always been awesome. I was happy to see they included it in this box.

Health Warrior Chia Bar in Acai Berry ($1.58)- I got this in a klutchklub I believe and it was pretty good. Chia things seem to be all the rage these days, I suppose because of all their health benefits. I usually don't like chia very much, but the seeds in this added some texture to the otherwise soft-ish bar.

1 large bag of Original Sea Sprinkles ($6)- Mmmm, this was really good, and super addicting. I ate about half the bag immediately. I love seaweed snacks, and this was no exception, I feel like I should buy more.

Hail Merry Chocolate Macaroons ($5)- How did Healthy Surprise know that I liked these so much! They have a really nice, not overpowering chocolate flavor. I always get exited when I see them in my boxes. They have a salted caramel flavor on their website and I really want to try that.

Barefruit Cinnamon Apples ($2)- These were really good! I liked that the only ingredients were apple and cinnamon. I actually liked these better than the freeze dried apples I sometimes get from Costco. They are more like chips. This might inspire me to make my own apple chips!

GoPals Original Brownie ($2.69)- Update: This was ok, it tasted more datey than choclatey. I would've preferred a normal brownie, but this might make a nice alternatives to those who can't.

GoPals Pumpkin Seed Sprouties ($1.98)- I'll put this in an update also.

Righteously Raw Synergy Spice Chocolate ($1.22)- BLEGHH. This was terribly disgusting. I can tell you that I have successfully completed the cinnamon challenge before. I can also tell you that this was worse than the cinnamon challenge. Probably the worst thing I've ever tasted. I gave the rest to my friend and they agreed.

Righteously Raw Pure Dark Chocolate ($1.22)- Put it in an update, hopefully it isn't as bad as the other one. Update: This was much better, it was really dark, but I liked it.

1 Sacred Chocolate Heart ($12.97)- Dang this chocolate is expensive, so I have high expectations for it. Check for updates on this. Update- Yum! This was tasty and surprisingly creamy for being dairy free.

The value of this box was about $50! Pretty great value for a food box if I don't say so my self. And the items seem very high quality and most of them tasted awesome. I can only imagine what are in the higher price boxes!

Verdict- I would recommend subscribing if you are willing to pay the price, you won't be disappointed

*I did receive this box free of charge to review courtesy of Healthy Surprise. This did not affect my opinion in any way of this box.

March Fancy Box Food Review

The Fancy Food box is a monthly subscription service offered by the thefancy.com. Fancy currently offers several subscription boxes. The normal one, Ashton Kutcher, P!nk, and Coca Rocha Boxes. I stumbled across a coupon on mysubscriptionaddiction.com for $25 off one box (not available any more). I decided to get the food box because I am a full fledged foodie.

This fancy box regularly costs $39 monthly plus shipping. For me shipping was only $2, so with the coupon code I only paid $17 dollars for this box. The contents of this box were so awesome, I want to keep my subscription. Even though I was a little skeptical at first, this box was totally awesome!

I also wanted to mention how fast this box shipped! I got a shipping notification email Friday night and got the box Saturday morning! Really nice surprise!

The contents of the box with retail value:

Toasted Almond Biscotti by Biscottie Di Vechio ($9.95)- This came with 8 pieces of fairly large biscotti! The only ingredients in this were flour, sugar, lemon zest, and almonds. I am usually not a huge fan of biscotti, but this was really good. You could really taste all the ingredients.

The Tropical by The Brooklyn Salsa Company ($7)- I had a gigantic bag of tortilla chips I just bought, so this fancy box came just in time. It is pretty good for a less chunky salsa. I really liked the addition of fruits like oranges and coconut milk.

Passion Flower Serenitea ($15)- Ah, what food subscription box would be complete without tea! I haven't tried this yet but it seems interesting. It isn't caffeinated so I can drink it before bed.

Qginger Ginger Ale ($2 when bought in a pack of 24)- Dangit Fancy Box! I might never be able to drink "normal" ginger ale ever again! I love ginger ale and this was fantastic. It had a pretty strong ginger taste unlike other ginger ales. It wasn't too sweet either. I couldn't drink it all in one sitting because the ginger taste was really strong, but in a good way.

Qkola Cola ($2 when bought in pack of 24)- I haven't tried this yet, but by the taste of the ginger ale, I think this is gonna be awesome too!

Chorizo Seco by Charlito's Cocina ($16.67)- I always like when they send meat in subscription boxes, it gives the box more of a gourmet feel. This was really good also. I had it thinly sliced on a baguette like the card said, and it packed in a lot of flavor. I'll also try it with scrambled eggs. It feels really high quality.

A pack of 2 chocolate Bon Bons by Fine & Raw Chocolate ($8)- Dang, this is expensive chocolate. It tasted good for chocolate, but I expected more by how much it costs. Still good though.

Drunken Monkey Jam by The Jam Stand ($10)- Yum! This was really good jam. I like how the only ingredients were bananas, sugar, lime, and a splash of rum. It was sweet but not to sweet. Again, you could taste all of the ingredients. I might try to make this myself, but it probably won't turn out as good.

Cards with all the items on it. 4 recipe cards, and two stickers from The Fancy.

The total value of this box was $70.62, what a great value! This box was so fun to unbox, it felt like a Christmas present. This is one of my favorite boxes now!

Verdict- If you like food, and are willing to spend $39 a month, you should definitely subscribe!
